DEEP LEARNING’s 2022 Oxtail release Evergreen saw Richard Pike take a leap into a new phase as an artist. Taking looped CD glitches, ripples of melody, with gentle waves of percussion, it followed naturally that it would be fertile ground for remixes.

For Evergreen (Remixed), Deep Learning reached out to seven of his favorite artists and friends to put their spin on tracks from the album.

The result is a rich and varied collection of tracks that showcases the strength of the compositions and the range of the contributors: Hoavi opens with a woozy take on Evergreen highlight “Boy”, Throwing Snow flips the glitchy ambience of “Message Your Loved Ones” into a full-throttle thumper, and Madeleine Cooclas stretches “White Light” into infinity, just to name a few.

Evergreen (Remixed) stands as both a testament to the quality of its source material, and a celebration of the joys of collaboration, friendship, and sharing.
